14/10/19 DNA: Theory 1; I believe that this theory is correct and in ways does apply to me personally. When I first got a smartphone and a Xbox which was connected to a high speed broadband, I would not leave the house to purchase things. However I still notice that people leave their homes to go to the store or market to buy products that they need. For example when Facebook  first started it was just a social media site but now it is one of the main hubs for corporate advertising. TV and Radio: Traditional distribution of TV and Radio advertisements are digitally and analogue broadcast received and view or listened to on a dedicated device. Print: Physical printing onto paper, delivered via  purchase in a shop or delivery to house. Film: Presentation in a cinema or sale of optical media (DVD/BLU RAY) Video Games: Sale of storage/optical media (DVD/BLU RAY/CARTRIDGE/ CARD) Internet: Browsing of websites on a  Desktop PC or laptop.

The three categories of media Jobs: Pre-Production                                                           Production                                                           Post-Production Pre-Production: the planning and drafting stages of a media product e.g. scheduling, funding, casting, designing, storyboarding, screenwriting etc. Production: the actual making of a media product e.g. filming, photographing, writing, inking graphics, recording sound etc. Post-Production: the editing and finalising of a media product e.g. adding special effects, digital manipulation, audio and video editing.
