Codes and Conventions

07/11/19 First Person Shooter Halo is a First Person, Sci-Fi, Action, Shooter that is based in the Halo Universe. The game covers most if not all of the general Conventions of an FPS game as well as other genres too. The entire halo series (Minus Halo wars/2 and Halo Spartan Assault/Strike and Halo 3 ODST) Focuses on one character 'The Master Chief' also known as 'Chief'. As the Halo series does this it already covers the Hero Persona as the player is the character Master Chief and is put in the shoes of the hero, the one person that can save the day. The over Conventions this game covers include the Linear Narrative, Good vs Evil, Collectables, Violence and Gore. The Linear Narrative the game follows is the story of The Master Chief as he fights against an alien enemy. The game is a level based game with cutscenes in between each level explaining the story. This is extremely important to a game like this as if there is nothing to explain what is going on the players...
