1. Advertising began on 22nd September 1955. This was the date that advertising first appeared on television.

2. Cable TV in the UK first appeared as far back as 1938 and on 29 April 1990 the launch of British Satellite Broadcasting (satellite television broadcaster)

3. Narrowcast is to send data to a specific list of recipients. Cable television is an example of narrowcasting since the cable TV signals are sent only to homes that have subscribed to the cable service. The Internet uses both a broadcast and a narrowcast model

5. Social media advertising has several different benefits that traditional media does not have. Social media adverts can increase Brand reputation and also Brand loyalty so the company is recognised and helps keep the company have the same customers. It also improves clientele traffic increasing the amount of customers to that company. Its extremely cost effective and creates better customer satisfaction.
